1. Do you offer insurance for vehicle shipments?

We offer basic insurance for all vehicle shipments. Our basic coverage is suitable for standard vehicles. We recommend additional coverage if you are shipping an exotic or luxury vehicle. Our plans insure against any accidental damage, loss, or theft of your vehicle while it’s in transit. All claims are made based on the market value of your vehicle.

2. How long will my vehicle shipment take?

Shipment times vary depending on the distance and destination of your shipment. Domestic shipments of 500 to 1000 miles will take approximately 2-3 days. International shipments can take anywhere from 6 days to 60 days, depending on the destination.

3. How is the cost of my move determined?

Prices vary depending on destination, distance, shipping method, and season. A standard sedan shipped coast to coast would cost around $800-1000. International shipments can average between $900-2000 depending on destination, country, vehicle, and import taxes or other fees.

4. Do I need to prepare my vehicle before shipping it?

We always recommend you wash and document the condition of your vehicle before shipping it. Remove any personal belongings from inside of your car too. It’s also important to empty your vehicle’s gas tank, as fuel may add to the weight of the vehicle and increase your shipping price. Top off any fluids, check your tire pressure and ensure that your vehicle is operable.

5. What happens if my vehicle gets damaged during transit?

If your vehicle is damaged during transit, you may make a claim through our insurance. All of our shipments are insured through our insurance provider. Make sure to upgrade your insurance plan to a more comprehensive plan if you are shipping a luxury, vintage, or antique vehicle.
